Darshana Gajare explains the way we can use our grandmother’s teachings in today’s world to produce sustainable, fashionable clothes in a time when climate change poses such a serious problem. Darshana Gajare, Founder & CEO of Fairtrunk found her purpose in advocating Ethical Fashion and building an ecosystem to support this niche. A NIFT & LCF alumnus with an experience of over a decade in the Fashion industry, kickstarted her career as a designer and moved on to operations & marketing roles for leading organisations like Reliance Brands (Diesel India), Fynd & Times of India to name a few. She quit the comfort and security of a corporate well-paying job to realise the Entrepreneurial dream while campaigning for a cleaner and sustainable fashion industry. Alongside Fairtrunk, she is a core-team member of Fashion Revolution India, leading the movement from Mumbai.
