Calorie Surplus Tips | Adding Muscle Mass | Vegan Fitness

Do you want to gain muscle? Being in a calorie surplus is the easiest way to add on muscle mass.

What is a calorie surplus? A calorie surplus is when your caloric intake is greater than your caloric output and this results in weight gain, like adding muscle mass.

However, it is not always easy eating more and being in that caloric surplus. Therefore, I have a couple tips to share that have helped me.

Eat earlier on. I would suggest trying to eat an hour or two earlier than you usually do, this will allow you to have a bigger timeframe to be able to eat more throughout the day.

Add more nut butter to your diet. Adding one tablespoon of nut butter is around 90 calories. It is an easy and tasty way to get more calories into your diet.

Plan your meals and your mealtimes. Your body will get into a habit of eating at those times and you will not forget to eat.

Add in more snacks. I know I love my snacks so I find it easy to add in a couple more snacks in the day.
