🥣Ingredients and recipe:
Cut 1 white cabbage into wedges or slices.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
Chop 1 onion.
Transfer the chopped onion into a greased frying pan and sauté until translucent.
Finely chop 100g | 10oz mushrooms.
Add mushrooms to the onion. Fry for about 3-5 minutes.
Drain the water and cool cabbage.
Mash cooked cabbage with a hand blender.
Transfer mashed cabbage to a mesh bag or sieve.
Squeeze the liquid.
Add mushrooms and onion mixture.
Combine with 3tbsp semolina or fine corn meal.
Add 3tbsp chickpea crumbs or bread crumbs.
Add salt to taste, black pepper and chopped fresh dill.
Transfer patties mixture to the fridge for 10 minutes.
Roll the mixture into balls and gently squeeze down to flatten into patties.
Place patties into a lightly greased frying pan.
Fry on a medium heat covered with a lid for about 3-5 minutes or until the bottom is golden brown.
Flip to the other side and fry another 3-5 minutes.
Enjoy these delicious veg patties with cabbage for lunch or dinner! 💕
