Hello all! I hope you all are well.

As promised in my last video- and just in time for the holiday- I am sharing with you my quick and easy recipe for MOCK Alkaline/Vegan Cornbread.

IYKYK. But, if you don’t, I’ll tell you. In the Alkaline community corn- or anything pertaining to it- is a big no-no. Corn is a hybrid and as a result is not considered Alkaline- and is definitely not in keeping with the Dr. Sebi Lifestyle.

However, as CORNY- get it?- as it may sound, Kamut is the holy grail when it comes to all of your possible corn needs. That being said, it was no surprise to me that I could blend it up and add it to this recipe and have that very close- familiar- taste of cornbread.

As mentioned in the video, we served this up next to our Vegan Chili (linked below) and it was DELICIOUS. Let me know if you give this a try and what you think. It’s a win for us.

RECIPE:
1 1/2 CUP SPELT FLOUR
1 1/4 CUP KAMUT FLOUR
1/2 CUP COCONUT PALM SUGAR
1/3 CUP GRAPESEED OIL
2 TBSP AGAVE
1 1/2 CUP SELTZER WATER
