Innovation and display of trends promised at this year’s Plant Based Expo Europe
Europe’s only 100% plant-based B2B event, PBWE( Plant Based World Expo Europe) returns to London ExCel next week (November 13-14th) with the promise of invaluable educational content, new product innovation and potential business opportunities.
With more than 150 exhibitors from across the globe, the expo will highlight cutting-edge developments in plant-based foods and ingredients, supply chain and manufacturing.
“At Plant Based World Expo we recognise the importance of innovation and collaboration across the entire supply chain to create enticing, delicious plant-based products that customers will love – and change their dietary habits for,” said Abigail Stevens, Marketing Director at JD Events. “The show this year will champion innovation in the space, and technologies that are making it happen.”
Innovation on display includes alt-meat created from spent brewer’s waste by Spain’s Alimentos Sanygran, and alternatives made from beanstalk.
Education
The expo’s educational programming will be hosted across three distinct stages: the Pulse Theatre, featuring industry data and future outlooks; the Learning Garden, providing insights into new research and innovations; and the Culinary Theatre, where attendees can taste featured products prepared by professional chefs.
Building Business Connections
The Hosted Buyer Programme will facilitate over 1,200 meetings between manufacturers and key buyers from major organisations, including Sainsbury’s and Sysco. “This event is focused on making those critical business connections that help drive the plant-based industry forward,” said Event Director Jonathan Morley. “Now is the time to leverage the network here to shape the future of food.”
