Day In The Life + Amazing VEGAN CHAI Recipe!
VEGAN CHAI RECIPE!
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon each of: cinnamon powder, nutmeg, all spice
3 teaspoon coconut sugar
3 cardamon pods
4 cloves
3-4 peppercorns
1 star Anise
few drops vanilla essence
3 black tea bags
2 tsp coconut sugar (or to taste)
1.5 cups water
2.5 cups plant based milk (we use Bonsoy)
Method:
1. Put all spices, teabags & sugar into saucepan.
2. Add 1.5 cups boiling water and simmer for around 10 minutes
3. Remove teabags & add milk, whisk occasionally while bringing to desired temperature.
4. Strain into cups & enjoy. +Add extra coconut sugar if you like yours sweet 🙂
