Fill your plate with colour

Lunch was quick today.

I flew home and found some left over red quinoa I had in the fridge and sliced some cauliflower in pieces and threw them on the pan with coconut oil then added some baby vine tomatoes – coriander, turmeric and courgette spagetti.

Tasted beautiful and lightly decorated with date syrup🙌🏻

What’s really great about this is the colour and flavour not to mention health benefits on your plate !

Fight Cancer with CAULIFLOWER 🌿 Cauliflower contains sulforaphane, a sulfur compound that has also been shown to kill cancer stem cells, thereby slowing tumor growth. Some researchers believe eliminating cancer stem cells may be key to controlling cancer.

For instance, research has shown that combining cauliflower with curcumin (the active compound in the spice turmeric) may help prevent and treat prostate cancer.

A study published in Carcinogenesis also found sulforaphane may reduce the incidence and rate of chemically induced mammary tumors in animals. It also inhibits the growth of cultured human breast cancer cells, leading to cell death. 🙌

Recipe: all cooked on high heat for about 5 mins as you want the veg hearty !

Quarter a cauliflower and slice thinly

 4 baby plum tomatoes

Left over Red quinoa with peppers

Courgette spiralised into spagetti

Salt and pepper

Tablespoon of turmeric

Bunch of coriander

And eat!
