We already covered the king of spices this week with cinnamon but what about the queen of spices : TURMERIC 🙌 Turmeric has a bucket load of health benefits but my reason for eating it: I have been eating a lot lately as I broke my hand twice last year and along with Lychees, I’ve adapted Turmeric into my diet as much as I can. It is know for relieving Arthritis! Rheumatoid arthtitis in the hand especially 😁👌💪✌️👏
The anti-inflammatory properties in turmeric are great for treating both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. In addition, turmeric’s antioxidant property destroys free radicals in the body that damage body cells. It has been found that those suffering from rheumatoid arthritis who consume turmeric on a regular basis experience much relief from the moderate to mild joint pains as well as joint inflammation.
This is a hearty tasty salad with a combo of flavours rushing to the palate.
Cup of raspberries
Bunch of rocket leaf
Raw whole turmeric shredded
Cup of Mushroom sautéed
Aubergine cubed and sautéed
Cup of Baby tomatoes sautéed
Cup of Cubed tofu
Drizzle of balsamic vinegar
Place on a bowl and stir – then eat!
